There are limitations to the flash technology we've implemented for the noozometer that currently prohibit us from having it interact directly with the page. We've reached out to its author (who has been very responsive in the past) to see about getting this ability built in. In the meanwhile, you should see some pretty big changes in the way the noozometer information is presented which might get you what you're after.
